Buffalo Wild Wings Petitions to Save NFL Season From Lockout, Offers Free Wings to Fans Who Sign Wings and football go together, and Bufallo Wild Wings wants to keep it that way.

In the midst of the still unresolved NFL lockout, Buffalo Wild Wings is creating an online petition in an attempt to save the upcoming NFL season.

The restaurant’s petition links to Facebook and features a video of a play-by-play call from a football game, as seen at the bottom of this blog.

BWW said it will hand out coupons for free wings to everyone who signs the Facebook petition, the Huffington Post reports.

“We keep hearing from our fans how much they want a football season and we want them to know we’re happy not only to serve as their voice, but also to celebrate the return of football and their passion for the game,” said Buffalo Wild Wings vice president Kathy Benning.

According to the Huffington Post, the restaurant sent copies of the petition, which has 28,000 “likes” as of Thursday morning, to the NFL and the NFLPA.
