Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez may never live down the video of Diaz feeding the Yankee third baseman popcorn during the Super Bowl.
Doesn’t mean they don’t laugh about it, though.
Diaz discussed her relationship with Rodriguez as well as the incident with CBS’ David Letterman on his late night TV show.
“We were watching the game and I was eating and I was getting down to the last couple pieces of popcorn and all of the sudden, I see a hand coming in,” Diaz said. “Anybody who knows me knows that you do not put your hand in my food.
“I said what are you doing — that’s mine. And then I went, ‘you know what, I love you too much. I’m going to give it to you — you deserve it.’ And it was the only piece of popcorn that I even put near his face and they happened to have the camera on [us] right when I did it.
“And 10 minutes later we started blowing up on our BlackBerrys,” she continued. “We started laughing so hard like, ‘Are you kidding me?'”
At the end of her story, Letterman pulled out a bucket of popcorn and leaned in as Diaz was eating it. The actress promptly fed Letterman — just like she did A-Rod.
