Bruins first-round draft pick Dougie Hamilton has an immense amount of potential. But unlike last year's first-round pick Tyler Seguin, who made the Bruins roster immediately, Hamilton could be more of a work in progress.
B's general manager Peter Chiarelli said that Hamilton is about a year away. He said that he is still a bit skinny and needs to get stronger.
Hamilton's OHL coach, Marty Williamson, echoed Chiarelli's sentiments and said that Hamilton needs to obtain more man strength, which could eventually be make him unstoppable at times.
Williamson said that Hamilton is a complete defenseman who sees the ice really well. He also praised Hamilton's character.
To hear what else Chiarelli and Williamson think Hamilton needs to focus on in his development and what they expect from him going forward, check out the video above from NESN Daily.
