Ron Artest has done a lot of work to repair his reputation following the infamous ‘Malice at the Palace’ in 2004, even auctioning off his 2010 championship ring for charity. The Los Angeles Lakers forward is certainly still quirky, but he has been making a point of separating himself from trouble (notice who walked Andrew Bynum away from the scuffle).

So, Artest was eager to step on board when asked to participate in an animal welfare commercial, posing with different animals. The critters started off cute and cuddly, but sooon after, Artest was surprised to see a five-foot long albino python emerging from the back, among other exotic creatures. The entire ordeal was a prank set up by late-night funny man Jimmy Kimmel.
