In an attempt to raise money for the Patricia Pratt Cancer Fighting Fund, Danny Pratt turned to Twitter. He asked Patriots cornerback Leigh Bodden for a favor, and Bodden listened.

On Saturday, Pratt tweeted Bodden, asking if the defensive back could retweet a message that asked followers to donate a dollar to support his mother's cancer-fighting fund. Bodden did so.

According to the fund's website, Patricia Pratt fought breast cancer twice and esophageal cancer a few years ago, before the disease returned. The family needs $10,000, and so far they have raised $2,988.
