Who Should Be Bruins' Honorary Captain for Game 6? The Stanley Cup Final has already provided a unique opportunity for a couple of Bruins legends. Cam Neely was named an honorary captain for Game 3, while Bobby Orr was the team's honorary captain for Game 4. With one more game at the TD Garden, there's one more opportunity for the B's to honor an all-time great.

But with a tradition as rich as the Bruins', it's difficult to limit the number of honorary captains to three. So many great players have donned the spoked-B, so choosing one for the must-win Game 6 is a difficult task.

Ray Bourque spent 21 seasons with the Boston Bruins, and he is the team's all-time leading scorer and longest-serving captain. While he never won a Stanley Cup in Boston, he became the face of the franchise and is one of the greatest defensemen to ever play the game.

Hall of Famer Johnny Bucyk has been a member of the Bruins organization for 50 consecutive years. He helped the B's win the Cup in 1970 and 1972, and is still the team's all-time leading goal scorer.

Ken Hodge was also a member of those two Stanley Cup-winning teams. Playing alongside Phil Esposito on a line, Hodge became the seventh leading scorer in Bruins history.

Don Cherry is now known mostly for his opinionated commentary and boisterous wardrobe, but he was once the man behind the bench for the Big Bad Bruins of the late 1970s. He took the team to two Stanley Cup Final appearances and was a major advocate of physical play.

Tim Thomas is the hottest goaltender going right now, but Bruins fans will never forget the stellar play of Gerry Cheevers in net.

Cheevers was the goalie for the Bruins' last two Stanley Cup Final victories and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1985. Known for his iconic stitch-pattern goalie mask, Cheevers returned to the Bruins organization as a member of the scouting staff from 1995-2006.
