Chad Ochocinco has been with the New England Patriots for less than a week, but he already feels as if he's in heaven. On Sunday, he was even happier after meeting Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo.
The wide receiver met the Celtics All-Star point guard on the practice field Sunday. Of course Ochocinco, the All-Star tweeter that he is, did not let the meeting go unnoticed.
He promptly took a photo with Rondo to document the meeting and then tweeted: "PePe met @rajonrondo today, they have Celtic players in #Heaven."
Clearly, Ochocinco is already in love with all things New England.
And while things are going great with the Patriots, Ochocinco also seems ready to play the part of goodwill ambassador to rival New York Jets fans.
"I can't believe New Yorkers n my Boston folks don't get along. If we all united we could be 1 huge Toyota Prius car gang with cool jackets," the 33-year-old tweeted on Sunday.
Ever confident in his power to persuade, Ochocinco tweeted later on Sunday, "I will be the one man 2 unite my Bostonians and New Yorkers as 1 n when I do it's gonna make me one hell of a #Patriot *Goodnight*."
While he'll have to keep working to forge a peace between most Jets and Patriots fans, Ochocinco will have no problem spreading the love between C's and Pats fans, especially now that he's met Rondo.
