Jose Reyes' First Rehab Start a Success, Expects to Be Back With Mets on Tuesday In his first rehab start back from the disabled list, Jose Reyes came out after six innings and "expects to play [Tuesday]."

Reyes told The Star-Ledger that he fully believes he'll be back with the Metropolitans at Citi Field on Tuesday.

"Everything went good," Reyes told the Star-Ledger. "I was able to move around in the field with no problems.

"I tested my hamstrings yesterday, running the bases. I don't have any symptoms or problems so I don't expect it to be a problem at all."

Reyes played two-thirds of the game with the Mets Triple-A affiliate, the Brooklyn Cyclones, fielding one ground ball and eventually scoring off of a double.

This could be good news for Mets fans, as the All-Star shortstop hopes to come back without problems and continue one of the finest seasons of his career, especially with trade rumors swirling and a nice payday in the offseason waiting for him.
