While the NFL lockout is officially over, there are a ton of veteran players without a team, draft picks that need to be signed and training camp battles that need to ensue. What this makes for is an extremely busy time in the world of football.

It's also a busy time for NESN.com's Jeff Howe. But Howe dropped by NESN Daily to discuss the new collective bargaining agreement that the owners and players were able to hammer out, as well as to take a look at what kind of shape the Patriots are in as training camp and free agency finally get set to begin.

Howe thinks that the Patriots are in good shape as of right now, and that any lingering bitterness between the players and owners should decrease as we move forward and football activities resume.
