At Saturday's New England 200 in Loudon, N.H., Trevor Bayne showed some of the magic that made him the youngest Daytona 500 winner ever. He built a big lead early on and looked poised to make a bid for his first Nationwide win of the season. But unfortunately a mishap on Lap 190 caused him to slide down the race's leaderboard.

Bayne, driving the No. 16 NESN car for Roush Fenway Racing, finished in 13th place.

Starting seventh, Bayne jumped out to an early lead. By Lap 77, he had extended the lead over second-place Kevin Harvick to more than 2 1/2 seconds.

But after falling to sixth, Bayne's car showed a bit of tire smoke. Fourteen laps later, Bayne, Joey Logano, Reed Sorenson and Jeremy Clements were involved in a mishap off turn four after Steve Wallace hit the back of Logano — an accident that essentially spelled the end of Bayne's quest for a race win.

Kyle Busch picked up the win on Saturday, which marks the 100th of his NASCAR career. He is the third driver in NASCAR history to accomplish that feat.

The win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday also tied him with Mark Martin for first place in career Nationwide wins with 49. Busch has 22 career wins in the Sprint Cup and 29 in the Trucks Series.

Kevin Harvick and Kasey Kahne finished second and third, respectively, while Roush Fenway's Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished fourth while driving the Fenway Park 100 Years car.
