Trevor Bayne rode the No. 16 Roush Fenway NESN car to a 13th place finish at the New England 200 on Saturday. And although he let an early lead slip away, Bayne said it was a fun race and that it's been awesome to have Red Sox Nation in his corner.
Bayne apologized for tearing up the NESN car a bit, but he said that it was great to be able to represent Roush Fenway by leading laps during Saturday's race.
He also discussed him and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s friendly rivalry and said he hopes to bring success to the racing team in the future.
