While the Red Sox are getting set to host the Yankees for a three-game series at Fenway Park, it didn't stop Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett and Hall of Famer Jim Rice from taking time out of their days to give back to the community.
Gonzalez and his wife, Betsy, went back-to-school shopping with some Red Sox Scholars at Target in Dorchester, while Beckett hosted the fifth annual Beckett Bowl to benefit the Josh Beckett Foundation and the Children's Hospital Boston.
Rice, meanwhile, took part in the Chipping In For The Red Sox Foundation event at Fenway Park.
