Andrew Ference Taking Krav Maga Classes to Help Prepare for Chippy Canadiens Games

When Andrew Ference steps on the ice this fall, he’ll be a little bit older but he’ll be much wiser.

The veteran defenseman has taken Krav Maga classes this summer, learning Israeli martial arts tactics that could come in handy on the ice.

“[The trainer] is gonna basically come and beat me up and wake me up for the season and teach me stuff in case we get into a couple of Montreal Canadiens games like we had this year, where we gotta be on our toes,” Ference joked.
