However, there are some “WAGs” (wives and girlfriends) out there who are putting that idea to shame. Kim Kardashian is engaged to New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries. Be honest, did you even know what team Humphries was on before he started dating Kardashian?

People know Carrie Underwood’s preferred genre of music is country, but how many Americans out there know which NHL team Mike Fisher, Underwood’s husband, plays for?
