While the arrival of Chad Ochocinco in New England should help make the offense even more explosive, it could also mean one of the team's younger wide receivers will soon be looking for a new team.
The Patriots only carried five true wide receivers last season. NESN.com's Jeff Howe said that if the team elects to go in that direction again this season, it will mean that either Julian Edelman, Brandon Tate or Taylor Price could eventually be released.
Howe says that Tate and Edelman hold a distinct advantage because of their special teams value, but that Price has been one of the overachievers at training camp thus far. Howe expects the battle to heat up as the team gets set for its first preseason game on Thursday.
