And leave it to an NBA player to make things even uglier.
While the world watched Georgetown’s men’s basketball team and China’s Bayi Rockets embarrass themselves and spit on James Naismith‘s grave earlier this week, NBA star Gilbert Arenas had a field day on Twitter.
After calling out the Hoyas by saying “the group speaking english” didn’t win the fight, Arenas kept twisting the knife, using immature karate chop, soy sauce and Kung-Fu Panda references, as seen on his Twitter page and in the screengrab below.
Where would you rank Arenas among the NBA’s biggest idiots?
“He’s going to have to change some of the things he does. I know he’s saying, ‘Hey, they’re targeting me, they’re looking out for me.’ Well, you may be the comparison to Shaquille O’Neal: If you want to stay in the game and not foul out, even though they may be targeting you or looking at you differently, you’ve got to do some things to stay in the game.”
