Fan Grabs Kick Returner Mid-Play During Arena League Game, Gets High Fives From Players (Video)

"I'm pretty sure that's not legal."

The commentator summed up nicely a bizarre play during Monday night's Arena League playoff game between the Jacksonville Sharks and the Georgia Force.

Georgia kick returner CJ Johnson received a kickoff in the back of the endzone when a Sharks fan reached over the back wall and bear hugged him.

The play was whistled dead, and several Sharks players came over to high-five the celebrating fan.

Jacksonville coach Les Moss was not as amused, however, as the resulting 20-yard penalty brought the ball out nearly to midfield on the Arena League's shortened playing surface.

The Sharks went on to win the game, 64-55, to advance to ArenaBowl XXIV, where they will play the Arizona Rattlers on Friday.
