With a spot in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Penn., on the line, the top four teams in New England will square off in a single-elimination tournament, beginning with a doubleheader on Thursday.
The first semifinal matchup will pit Connecticut’s Fairfield American (3-1 in pool play) against Rhode Island’s Cumberland American (2-2). The game is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
The latter game will feature New Hampshire’s Goffstown, which captured the top seed after going 4-0 in pool play, against fourth-seeded Andover National out of Massachusetts. First pitch is set for just after 7 p.m.

The two winners will then square off in the championship game Saturday at 1 p.m.
