Playing at a high level in the NFL is something few accomplish. Playing at a high level and winning a Super Bowl, all on a broken leg — Clay Matthews seems to be the only one to accomplish that.

The two-time Pro Bowler revealed Tuesday that he played the second-half of the season, including the Packers' journey to a championship, on a broken leg, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

"I don't make a big deal of it," Matthews said Tuesday. "[It happened] some time in the middle of the season. You can't do anything about it. I was just taking practices off and showing up on gameday and giving it my all."

The linebacker finished the regular season with 13.5 sacks and added 3.5 more during the postseason. In the Super Bowl, Matthews had three tackles and a forced fumble.
