Although Mike Richards won't be wearing the "C" on a Flyers' jersey when the Rangers go to Philadelphia for the 2012 Winter Classic, someone else will.
Rumored photos have been circulating the Internet, claiming to be the jerseys for the New Year's Day showdown between the Flyers and Rangers.
The latest photo, released by a New York Rangers blog, Bleeding All Blue, has the classic Rangers shield on a white jersey trimmed in red and blue. With Mark Messier on the back of the rumored jersey, it's possible that someone is again just testing the waters.
However, they do look similar to earlier online photos, though this one has "Rangers" written in white, not red.
