FOXBORO, Mass. — It's still too early to know if it means anything for Sunday, but there were a couple of positive signs Thursday regarding two of the Patriots' key injuries.

Tight end Aaron Hernandez walked through the locker room at a very brisk pace and didn't show a noticeable limp. After injuring his knee Sunday against the Chargers, Hernandez limped badly while exiting the locker room.

Hernandez told NESN.com, "I'm feeling great."

Safety Patrick Chung injured his right thumb during the third quarter against the Chargers and returned in the fourth quarter with a hard cast. Chung had surgery on the thumb this week, according to ESPN, but he was present at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, according to sources.
