FOXBORO, Mass. — Center Dan Koppen and defensive lineman Mike Wright were the only two players absent from Friday's practice, making the team's injury outlook clear heading into Sunday's game against the Chargers.

It's the same attendance report as Thursday.

The Patriots practiced in shorts and shells for all three sessions this week, likely due to the compressed schedule after Monday's game in Miami.

While the players were stretching, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was speaking with former Giants quarterback Phil Simms on the sideline. The pair won two Super Bowls together with the Giants.
