Dustin Byfuglien Arrested on Suspicion of Drunken Boating in Minnesota MINNEAPOLIS — Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien has been arrested in Minnesota on suspicion of boating while intoxicated.

An arrest log for the Hennepin County jail says Byfuglien was booked just after 11 p.m. Wednesday and released early Thursday morning. He has not been formally charged.

Byfuglien, a Minnesota native, was on the Chicago Blackhawks team that won the Stanley Cup in 2010 and was then traded to the Atlanta Thrashers.

He had 20 goals and 33 assists in 81 games with the Thrashers last year. He has played 341 NHL games in his career, scoring 75 goals and 87 assists.

The franchise was relocated to Winnipeg in the offseason.
