Great moments are born from great opportunities, and that’s what 5-year-old Joshua Sacco had on Sunday night.
Sacco gained fame in 2009 when his YouTube clip grew in popularity and gained cult status. The video showed him doing his best Kurt Russell imitation, as he delivered Herb Brooks‘ speech from the movie Miracle. Sacco made the most of his popularity, appearing on Ellen and even addressing the U.S. Olympic team in Vancouver.
On Sunday night, he took his act from hockey to baseball, stepping in front of a full Fenway house and delivering the speech. Based on the look on Daisuke Matsuzaka‘s face and the gutsy come-from-behind victory, it’s safe to say that the Red Sox received the message.
