Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart Among NASCAR Drivers Remembering 9/11 With American-Themed Cars at Richmond (Photos) NASCAR and its fans take their American pride pretty seriously. That will be on display this weekend in Richmond when the Nationwide and Sprint Cup series drivers pay tribute to America on the weekend of Sept. 11.

With Sunday marking the 10th anniversary of the horrific attacks, a handful of drivers have traded in their customary paint jobs for the familiar red, white and blue of the American flag.

Some of the paint jobs were revealed during Friday night’s Nationwide race, while the big boys will break out their new looks on Saturday night during the Sprint Cup race.
