The Patriots re-signed veteran defensive lineman Gerard Warren on Wednesday, the team announced in a news release.

Warren was released Sept. 7. He rejoins the Pats after the team released defensive lineman Landon Cohen on Tuesday with no concurrent roster move at the time.

Warren, a 6-foot-4, 325-pound tackle out of Florida, played in all 16 games last season for the Patriot, with 10 starts. The 10-year veteran totaled 36 tackles and 3 1/2 sacks.
