The Patriots are hovering around the top of many preseason charts this year, but few — if any — have both Dallas and Washington ranked ahead of Bill Belichick's crew.

Perhaps the only one that does have the Cowboys and Redskinds ahead of the Pats is Forbes' list of the league's most valuable teams, which came out this week.

New England ranks third, valued at $1.4 billion, behind Washington ($1.5 billion) and Dallas ($1.85 billion).

The New York Giants ($1.3 billion) and New York Jets ($1.22 billion) trail the Pats, while last season's Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers are ninth at just $1.08 billion.

Jacksonville is last on the list, as the Jaguars are valued at $725 million — roughly half of New England's value.
