If you approach Randy Moss as he’s walking off the golf course, don’t expect him to be too chatty.
“Don’t come over here with that mic, bro,” the retired receiver told WEEI producer Ian “Iggy” Meropol on Thursday.
Moss was golfing in Bellingham, Mass., on Thursday. The Dennis and Callahan producer was hoping to get some information out of Moss and ask about the rumors that had him returning to the Patriots for one more go-round with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. He did manage to ask Moss if the receiver would be back at Gillette this year, and the response was succinct.
“No, uh-uh, man. I’m done,” Moss said.
He didn’t really expand on his comments, either.
“I’m just here golfing, minding my business.”
On the plus side, Moss said he golfed pretty well and that his truck team is looking good.

So much for that Brady-Moss reunion.
“I was rubbing his legs saying, ‘Hey, I’ve got to get these things loose for a triple.’ He said, ‘Nah, I’m not even thinking about it.’ Sure enough, he hit the perfect ball.”
–Giants manager Bruce Bochy, on how he prepared Pablo Sandoval for hitting a triple to complete the cycle
You know, with nobody rushing at him and trying to knock his head off, Drew Bledsoe probably wouldn’t make a bad pitcher.
How much would you pay to golf a round with Randy Moss?
