Saul Wisnia's New Book, 'Fenway Park: The Centennial -- 100 Years of Red Sox Baseball' Offers Stunning Celebration of Ballpark's History There’s been no shortage of memories at Fenway Park over the years. But Saul Wisnia‘s new book, Fenway Park: The Centennial — 100 Years of Red Sox Baseball, seeks to capture them all — and then some.

The book, which was released on Tuesday and comes with an exclusive DVD narrated by Red Sox World Series hero and Hall of Famer Carlton Fisk, gives an in-depth, stunning and engaging look at “America’s Most Beloved Ballpark.”

Wisnia’s book includes supreme photography, a wealth of memorabilia and original commentary by three generations of Boston Red Sox heroes and loyal fans, as it looks back at Fenway Park’s 100 illustrious years. It also includes images from the archives of the Boston Public Library that enhance the nostalgic experience.

Wisnia attempts to capture the very essence of Fenway Park and Boston baseball over the years by looking back at Fenway’s construction, Red Sox legends, taking a trip inside the famous Green Monster and sharing the passion that is so evident in Sox fans everywhere.

Wisnia is a former sports and news correspondent for The Washington Post, and feature writer for the Boston Herald. He is now a senior publications editor at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He has authored, co-authored and contributed to numerous books on Boston baseball history.
