The Red Sox are hoping to salvage a split with the Blue Jays on Thursday night in what will be the final contest north of the border this season for Terry Francona’s team.

The Sox are sending Andrew Miller to the hill to face Ricky Romero and the Jays. Romero, a third-year veteran, is looking for his 14th win, which would tie his career best, set last season. Miller is shooting for his seventh win of the season and hopes to bounce back from a rocky start in which he was lit up for six earned runs on five hits in 1 1/3 innings against Texas last week. Tune in to Red Sox First Pitch with Tom Caron and Dennis Eckersley at 6 p.m.

Stick around NESN after postgame coverage to catch another episode of AT&T Schooled: NESN's College Face-Off as Boston College squares off with Boston University. And, as always, get a full wrap of the day in sports with Thursday night’s episode of NESN Daily.
