FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis was limited in Wednesday's practice with a toe injury, according to the team's practice report. This is the first time the toe issue has popped up.
Safety Josh Barrett (hamstring, thumb), linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee) and defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion) missed Wednesday's session. Wright was limited Thursday and Friday while returning from a concussion he suffered in Week 1.
Cornerback Leigh Bodden (thumb), safety Sergio Brown (chest), cornerback Ras-I Dowling (hip), wide receiver Julian Edelman (ankle), defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth (back), tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee), wide receiver Matthew Slater (ribs), tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back) and running back Danny Woodhead (ankle) were limited in Wednesday's practice.
Bodden is no longer listed with the groin injury that limited him last week. Defensive linemen Kyle Love (ankle) and Shaun Ellis (knee) are also no longer listed with their respective injuries.
Aside from Green-Ellis, the injuries to Brown and Slater are new ones since last week.
Safety Patrick Chung (hand) and linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb) were full participants in Wednesday's practice.
