The Bruins have looked a lot like, well, not the Bruins so far this season. Gone, at least temporarily, is the type of hard-nosed hockey that the B's used to capture the Stanley Cup last season. Boston heads to Chicago on Saturday night in search of only its second win in five games this year.
It's way too early to panic, of course, but that doesn't mean the Bruins aren't trying to get things squared away. Claude Julien and Patrice Bergeron talked about the effort to get back to the type of hockey that makes the Bruins successful. Julien said getting over the mental hurdle that has, for whatever reason, kept the B's from doing that is crucial to getting back into the flow of things and living up to the this season's high expectations.
