Cam Ward Wins NESN Nation’s ‘Roadblocked!’ Award For Stonewalling B’s in First Road Game

In a game that felt like it could have been much more lopsided in either direction, the Bruins walk away losers yet again as they continue to stumble out of the gate.

But while the team's loss to the Avalanche on Monday felt like one that got away because of poor play, this one felt like the result of outstanding play. Problem was, it was Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward who played so great.

Ward made 26 saves on 28 shots, and one of those may have been impossible to save off the stick of Tyler Seguin.

In the end, he outdueled Tim Thomas (who made some great saves of his own) and the 'Canes claimed their first win of the year against the sputtering B's, 3-2.

NESN Nation's Dan Duquette thinks that Ward deserves a stick tap for his play, so he's giving the netminder NESN Nation's "Roadblocked!" player of the game award.

But Dan's willing to be wrong. Do you think Seguin deserves some props for his play as first-line center? Vote for your player of the game in the poll below or let us know in the comments.

Who is your "Roadblocked!" player of the game?
