David Ortiz Depicted in Yankees Uniform in Taiwanese Animation Explaining Red Sox’ Situation (Video)

The Taiwanese company that’s become famous for creating odd videos of news events (remember Tiger Woods?) tried its hand at explaining the reports and rumors that have been flying around about Boston’s baseball team.

In perhaps the most jarring image, David Ortiz is wearing an all-important batting helmet and carrying what appears to be a sack of his belongings at the end of a stick, much like you see hobos do in old black-and-white films. Even worse, he tells Wally The Green Monster to get out of his way before being shown in a Yankees uniform.

Oh, the humanity.

As background, the free-agent Ortiz said earlier in the week that he’d have to think about joining the Yankees, considering all the “drama” surrounding the Red Sox.
