Add Cam Janssen to the list of people who were happy to see the Cardinals win the World Series.

Janssen, who is originally from St. Louis, has known series MVP David Freese since the two were younger, according to NJ.com

"He takes care of me and anytime he needed hockey tickets when I played in St. Louis I took care of him," said Janssen. "I just know him from the growing up. St. Louis is a small town. We did charity work and exchanged numbers."

Freese was a crucial part of St. Louis' Cinderella championship run, as he drove in 21 runs during the postseason and hit a walk-off home run in Game 6.

"He deserves all this. He's going to take that team to another level in the future. He's very gifted. Couldn't happen to a better guy," Janssen said of Freese.

The Devils' only matchup with the St. Louis Blues this season is on Feb. 9 in New Jersey. Perhaps we'll see the World Series MVP there.
