There's a lot of questions surrounding the Red Sox these days in the wake of their September collapse and the decision to part ways with manager Terry Francona. This could make for an interesting offseason.
Adding to the offseason's unpredictability are reports that general manager Theo Epstein could leave the Red Sox if the right opportunity with another franchise presents itself. There's been a lot of speculation that the Cubs could be interested in adding the Sox GM to their organization.
The Boston Globe's Peter Abraham dropped by NESN Daily to discuss this and other issues the Sox currently face. He said the team will likely have to figure out what exactly Epstein's future holds before making a decision on a manager.
To hear what Abraham had to say about these issues, as well as who he thinks will be a good fit as the Sox' new skipper in 2012, check out the video above.
