Divisional football games can get testy, but safety Roman Harper and the rest of the Saints' defense got a little carried away Sunday against the Panthers.

Well after Panthers receiver Steve Smith had crossed the goal line on a 54-yard touchdown reception from Cam Newton, Harper gave Smith a hard pop in the shoulder. Smith bounced up and began his TD celebration undeterred, but Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins wasn't a fan of that, either.

Jenkins raced over and put his helmet in Smith's face, prompting Smith to grab Jenkins' facemask and take him to the ground. A scuffle broke out between several other players, ultimately resulting in an personal foul penalty on Harper.
