Top 10 Ugliest Football Fields Include Turfs of Blue, Red and Purple (Photos)

Eastern Washington. University of Central Arkansas. New Braunfels Canyon High School. These are just a few of the many institutions that have joined the colored turf craze created by Boise State.

Now, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s High School in Mich., is openly considering adding bright red artificial turf to its field.

It’s hard enough to watch Boise State play on that annoying bright blue football field, but now fans are  being forced to endure a football game played on a bright red turf?

Believe it or not, this isn’t the craziest idea for turf coloring out there.
