Cardinals Win World Series, But MLB Shop Recommends 2011 Texas Rangers Championship Gear

Despite coming excruciatingly close to winning the World Series twice on Thursday night, the Texas Rangers didn't actually win the World Series.

Yes, the Rangers came within an out of winning the 2011 World Series twice, but it was the Cardinals who recorded the last out. And right after the Cardinals won, as usual, the MLB shop rolled out its official World Series Champions collection.

MLB's online store is offering Cardinals championship hats and shirts, among other things. At one point, those other items included a few championship ones that didn't represent the Cardinals.

The online shop recommended a few Texas Rangers championship items, including a wallet and a bracelet, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Let's hope there were no Rangers fans trolling MLB.com last night.
