The Bruins entered Saturday's tilt with the Sabres having won four in a row. The biggest reason for the recent success is the team's improved offense.
The B's have scored 24 goals in their four November games, already surpassing their October total of 21. Much of those improvements stem from the Bruins' ability to get the puck in deep, and then subsequently making intelligent decisions.
The Bruins' power play, which was a weak spot throughout last season, has also improved in November. After the unit went 5-for-39 with the man advantage in October, the B's are 5-for-15 this month.
