The Bruins still have a lot of work to do to overcome their early-season slump, but you've got to walk before you can run. The B's appeared to be walking on Tuesday.
The B's took care of business at TD Garden, taking down the Ottawa Senators 5-3. The B's actually fell behind early in the contest, but they showed the resiliency that was a staple in their repertoire last season.
Daniel Paille, who scored the Bruins' final goal of the evening, spoke with the NESN crew after the game and said he felt like the Bruins played much better defense than they did through their first 10 games. The B's defense held Ottawa's top-ranked power play in check, forcing them to go 0-for-3 on the man advantage.
