Chris Kelly’s Strong Season, Benoit Pouliot’s Steadily Improving Play Continue to Impress Claude Julien

Chris Kelly nearly had his second career hat trick on Saturday, but his empty-net bid sailed about a foot wide. But the Bruins still came away with a 4-2 victory over the Jets, which is all that matters at the end of the day.

Claude Julien still took some time after the game to praise Kelly's play, though. The Bruins head coach said that Kelly is one of those guys that flies under the radar, yet he's been one of the team's most consistent forwards all season.

Julien also talked about Benoit Pouliot's strong play recently. Pouliot scored the game-winner versus the Devils on Nov. 15 and the shootout game-winner against the Sabres on Wednesday, and he set up one of Kelly's two goals with a beautiful pass on Saturday.
