Cristiano Ronaldo Taunted by Bosnian Fans As Portugal Prepares for Playoff Game (Video)The Portugese national team is in Bosnia for a Euro 2012 playoff game and the fans are really giving it to Cristiano Ronaldo in hopes of taking the star player off his game.

First, fans crowded the airport to greet Ronaldo by chanting the name of Lionel Messi at him as he and his teammates walked through the terminal, as pointed out by Yahoo!’s Dirty Tackle soccer blog.

Ronaldo recently explained why fans have been jeering him.

“It is because I am handsome, rich and a great player, because I am envied. I have no other explanation.”

During a recent Portugal training session, the Bosnian fans aimed laser pointers at his face from perches on surrounding buildings. Ronaldo’s response was to turn around and give them the finger.

There is still some time before Friday’s game, but the fans definitely seem to be on the right track to creating a distraction.
