Even though he didn’t have the best track record as a general manager, Isiah Thomas will always be mentioned as one of the best true point guards of all time.
Thomas led the Pistons from 1981 until 1994. During that time, he won two titles in ’89 and ’90 and was named an NBA All-Star 11 times.
At Magic Johnson‘s Mid-summer Night’s Classic in 1990, Thomas gave a bounce pass to Dominique Wilkins. The pass was bounced high off the hardwood, high enough that Wilkins could finish the play off with a big dunk, completing an alley-oop play.
