The Philadelphia Flyers and the Tampa Bay Lightning, or perhaps more appropriately Peter Laviollete and Guy Boucher, had quite a standoff on Wednesday night.
The Flyers, apparently fed up with the Lightning's 1-3-1 trap defense decided to just hold the puck in their own zone in an attempt to force the Lightning forechecker to make a move. The result was some awkward hockey to say the least, and on Thursday's edition of The Instigators, the guys debated who was to blame for the debacle.
Jack Edwards, as only he can, had an entertaining way of describing "the battle." See it above.
