Once again, the pot is calling the kettle black.
This time, it's former quarterback Kurt Warner asking Tim Tebow to ease up on his spiritual words of wisdom.
"You can't help but cheer for a guy like that," said Warner, who after winning a Super Bowl with the Rams, thanked Jesus on national television. "But I'd tell him, 'Put down the boldness in regards to the words, and keep living the way you're living. Let your teammates do the talking for you. Let them cheer on your testimony.'"
Mr. Warner never got tired of saying it, so why is he tired of hearing it from Tebow?
Immediately after winning the NFC title game in 2009, FOX analyst and NFL great Terry Bradshaw asked Warner how he would feel being "the third oldest quarterback to ever play in the Super Bowl." Warner didn't respond with "good," "bad" or "indifferent." In fact, he didn't even respond with any words that remotely came close to an emotion.
