The highlight of every episode of ESPN’s College GameDay is when analyst Lee Corso dons a mascot head, indicating who he is picking to win the big game.

The Sunshine Scooter got a little carried away Saturday, though, uttering an expletive before choosing Houston to beat SMU.

After talking into an SMU megaphone, Corso tossed the prop away, saying “Ah, [expletive] it.” He then pulled out a head of Shasta, Houston’s cougar mascot.

Corso apologized on the air, which you can view in the video below. ESPN said there would be no further action against Corso.

For what it’s worth, Corso’s prediction turned out to be correct when the Cougs rolled to a 37-7 win over the Mustangs.
