Robert Kraft was one of those honored Friday at the MIAA/MSSADA Sportsmanship Summit, as he was given the MIAA Distinguished Friend Award.
Kraft was honored, but he told NESN.com's Chantel McCabe that he sees good things from the younger generation, which was one of the larger themes of the event. The Patriots owner also urged younger people to help give back — much like Kraft has for a long time — while calling on young people to enrich society by using kindness.
Celtics great Satch Sanders was also honored. His message for young people was to make the most of their opportunities, while remaining focused on achieving positive things.
