Tom Brady Considers Asking Red Sox to Teach Him to Slide, Bill Belichick Thinks Dustin Pedroia Could HelpTom Brady was drafted in the 18th round by the Montreal Expos in 1995. But apparently he's forgotten how to slide during his time away from the game of baseball.

But after two strange slides on Sunday in Philadelphia in which Brady's knee brace dug up chunks of grass, the Patriots quarterback might be turning to a local source to regain his sliding form.

"That was pretty pathetic. Maybe I should go over to Fenway and have those guys teach me how to slide," Brady joked on WEEI's Dennis and Callahan. "But I've got this big-ass knee brace on my left knee. When I slide on grass, it just digs into the turf. There was a huge clump of grass that came up. Maybe I should slide on my right knee."

Head coach Bill Belichick agreed that Brady may need a little help with his sliding technique, admitting that they probably need to talk about it a little bit more.

"We'll look into that," Belichick said. "See if we can get Dustin [Pedroia] to spend a little time with him."

That's probably a good idea, especially since Brady the speed demon took off running five times for 28 yards on Sunday. Move over, Tim Tebow.
