Tyler Seguin’s Tip-in Goal Against Toronto Earns Captain Morgan Goal of the Week Honors

The Bruins are playing their best hockey of the young season, and a lot of credit for that goes to forward Tyler Seguin.

Last week Seguin guided Boston's offense and netted a hat trick against Toronto. Seguin's hat trick, specifically his second goal of the game, earned this week's Captain Morgan Goal of the Week Honors.

The second-year player caused a turnover at neutral ice, where teammate Patrice Bergeron corralled the loose puck. Bergeron's pass in Toronto's zone was deflected, but the puck came directly to Seguin. The 19-year-old lifted his stick and batted the puck in the net for his second goal of the game.
